MQ7 offers an all natural, non-toxic DEET-FREE Personal Repellent Spray formulation that is safe enough to use on the entire family. Unlike repellents containing DEET, MQ7 can be applied as often as needed without the ill effects of toxic residue or affecting the human nervous system. MQ7 can be applied on clothing as well, without causing plastic buttons, zippers, rayon, spandex and polyester materials to melt. MQ7 is made from scientifically modified, highly concentrated cedar oil. Throughout history, cedar has been known to repel insects naturally and this is why today we are accustomed to the use of cedar products, such as closets, chests and other cedar wood products. MQ7 will repel mosquitoes, chiggers, no-see-ums, gnats, flies, ticks and fleas. For over 10 years, a team of biochemist, horticulturist, biologist, entomologist, chemist, ecologist, formulators, researchers and professors have contributed to the development of MQ7. There are close to 390 species of cedar. Not all of them have the natural insect repellency properties. Furthermore, not all the components within cedar have insect repellency properties. We have identified the very few components within a specific cedar species that have the ultimate repellency property. We take those components and scientifically-modify the cedar oil to intensify these components. Then, we take a catalytic agent and homogenize the elements to come up with our highly concentrated proprietary formulation of MQ7. No product is 100% effective, not even DEET, but MQ7 will work as effectively, if not better, without the harmful effects. In our own test, we applied MQ7 on one arm making sure to apply enough to thoroughly cover the arm and to make sure to rub it on the skin until completely dry. Then we left the other arm naked, with nothing applied to it. We then sat outside where mosquitoes were present and watched the mosquitoes avoid the arm treated with MQ7 and land and bite the arm with nothing applied to it.
