Safe for indoor and outdoor use, the Bite Shield Portable Mosquito Repellent is a portable, lightweight biting insect repellant that produces a scent that biting insects hate but is pleasant to humans. The Bite Shield comes with two repellent cartridges; the Bite Shield Refill will replace them when they run out. The Bite Shield is sold separately. The Bite Shield Refill comes with two cartridges that contain plastic beads made with a naturally occurring oil called Geraniol, which has proven effective at repelling biting insects, including mosquitoes. Each cartridge will provide 120 hours of continuous use.
